At Investment Fiji, we work closely with investors and industry stakeholders to identify policy and regulatory challenges affecting the investment environment.
Through continuous engagement with the private sector, we support efforts to improve the ease of doing business by ensuring investor perspectives are communicated to relevant government authorities.
Our Policy Advocacy Role Includes:
Foreign Investor Pre-Engagement Framework
Consistent with the measures announced in the 2026–2027 National Budget, and proposed to take effect from 1 August 2026, Government will strengthen its whole-of-government approach to improving investor experience, transparency, coordination and service delivery.
A central component of this approach is the proposed implementation of the Foreign Investor Pre-Engagement Framework.
The introduction of the Foreign Investor Pre-Engagement Framework will provide a structured mechanism to better understand proposed investments, identify statutory approvals at an early stage, coordinate with relevant Government agencies, and provide investors with clear guidance throughout the investment process.
A coordinated whole-of-government approach will strengthen Fiji’s investment environment, improve investor confidence, enhance service delivery and facilitate the timely implementation of strategic investment projects.
